Kips Academy Islamabad is part of the KIPS Education System, one of Pakistan's long-established educational networks. The system traces its origins to 1992, when founder Abid Wazir Khan launched the Knowledge-Inn Academy, which later evolved into the Knowledge Inn Preparatory School the foundation of the name "KIPS." Over the years, this network expanded across the country to include schools, colleges, evening coaching centers, entry test preparation, and competitive exam training.

Today, the KIPS network offers a wide range of academic programs, including subject-based tuition, entry test preparation, and competitive exam coaching such as CSS and PMS. The Islamabad campus is part of this nationwide network, providing structured coaching support to students at various academic levels within the city.
